My name is Lisa Upright, this will be my 27th year teaching and I am so excited to be spending it at CGMS! I earned my BA in teaching from the University of NC at Charlotte, my Masters in Education from Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC and my National Board Certification in 2003 and 2013.

 This will be my sixth year at CGMS teaching Social Studies and Science in 7th grade and I can't wait to get started with your student. 

On a personal note, my husband and I live in Shallotte where we enjoy time at the beach, fishing, boating and frequent visits from our three children, four grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
