Hi, I’m Colleen Rupkalvis, and I’ll be teaching Paxton/Patterson Labs to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders this year. My goal is to provide students with hands-on experiences that explore real-world careers. I’m thrilled to join South Brunswick Middle School this year. I have been an educator for over 30 years, and I hold a BS in Elementary Education from West Virginia University and a MS in Education from Old Dominion University. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment where every student feels valued. Outside of school, I love traveling, boating, and watching football—especially WVU, UNC, and the Ravens! At home, I enjoy time with my husband, who recently retired from the Army, and our three UNC Tar Heel daughters: Olivia, Sophia, and Alexandra.
