I'm Mrs. Rohr and I teach Foundations of Health Science and Health Science II. This is my 5th year teaching high school. Prior to teaching I worked as a registered nurse (RN) for 20 years in various settings, including 3 different pediatric intensive care units, the FL Dept. of Health, as a school nurse at a high school, and as an employee health nurse at a large hospital system.

I moved to Shallotte a little over two years ago from Greenville, SC and am originally from Florida; where I began my nursing career. I am married with 3 children, in fact, my youngest child is a senior here at West! I am an animal lover with 4 kitties and 2 Frenchie's (which I am minorly obsessed with). 

I genuinely love teaching high school students (a.k.a. future healthcare professionals). When it comes to teaching, I believe in developing strong relationships with my students and strive to teach in ways relevant to them. I hope to ignite a spark in them to continue learning and hopefully become a valuable member of a healthcare team one day.
