I am so glad you stopped by to read a little more about me. I am the STEM teacher at Town Creek Elementary School as well as the head coach for our Science Olympiad team! I have been in education for 8 years in various roles but most of my experience has been with 4th grade math and science. I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a concentration in Science and Health. 

Personal life- I am married to my husband Allen. Together we have 2 children, 2 dogs, a cat, and a fish (who lives in my classroom and is named Sushi.) We have lived in North Carolina since 2015 and have loved becoming a part of our community. I love coffee, hockey, and Harry Potter!
