About Me

Hey Y’all! My name is Lindsay Kern and I teach 5th grade AIG ELA, Science, and Social Studies, along with 4th grade AIG ELA. I am also the AIG Lead and Yearbook Committee adviser for Lincoln.

The 2024-2025 school year will be my 15th teaching & my 6th at LES. I graduated from UNC-Pembroke in 2010 with my Bachelor’s in Education and went back a few years later to add on my AIG certification! 

I was raised in Lake Waccamaw, NC, but now live here in Leland. My husband, Derek, and I have been married for almost 18 years and we have four crazy (but amazing) kiddos - Lahna, Tripp, Jaxen, & Seylea.

Can we say mom taxi? Oh yes! I spend most of my free time cheering on a kid at some type of sporting event. Nothing beats those "Friday Night Lights". I love to dance, music speaks to my soul, being behind a camera is fire, and I can’t live without crime shows. I am obsessed with Mexican food, all things Harley Quinn, & sweet lil’ Grogu!
