About Me

I'm thrilled to be embarking on my 12th year of teaching and my 2nd year at VWES! I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in early childhood and elementary education, and I also hold a master’s degree in Differentiated Instruction. I grew up in Carteret County but my teaching journey has taken me across Missouri, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Alabama. In my free time, I enjoy spending time at the beach and traveling. I have explored 24 countries over the last four years and planning my next trips for 2027!
