Class Participation:
Students are expected to contribute to class discussion in a productive way. You will also be expected to have your camera on for the duration of the meeting, and will be assigned a participation grade as part of your classwork grade for compliance. Students are expected to attend all live synchronous class sessions and participate in them. To gain a full understanding of a topic, and for the class to be most productive, student participation is critical.
Late Work
Work turned in after the agreed upon due date is subject to a 10% penalty deduction. This is a county policy. See below:
Work turned in after the due date will reflect a 10 percentage point loss of credit. Work turned in more than one day late may be deducted additional points as determined by course.
Work graded in class may not be accepted late, as the answers were given to students.
Except in extenuating circumstances, work will not be accepted after the current quarter grading period.
Work that has not been completed by the due date will be entered as a zero. This should be an incentive for you to complete them as soon as possible.
If you have extenuating circumstances that would prevent you from completing work within 20 days of the due date, please contact me immediately.
