Welcome! My name is Jonnie Garrette, and I’ll be your Social Studies teacher this year. This is my 22nd year teaching & 17th here at LMS.
My husband & I have 3 amazing daughters. I moved around a bit as a kid, but I mostly grew up in Carolina Beach, NC. Before coming to LMS, I taught in Greenville, NC and Liverpool, England before that!
I love teaching ancient history because I love learning where so many things in our modern culture came from, and I think it's important to learn from the successes and mistakes of the past so we can create the best future possible!
