I graduated from UNC Wilmington. I am dually certified in Elementary Education as well as Special Education. I also hold my National Board Certification in Early Childhood Education. This is my seventh year teaching at Virginia Williamson.

Outside of school, I am married to my husband, Justin, who is also a teacher. We have one son, Hunter.
