Hi Lincoln Family! 

My name is Mrs. Bethany Ables! This year, I have the honor serving as our Student Support Specialist. I am passionate about helping children recognize their strengths and build the confidence they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. 

This will be my seventeenth year in education! My experience includes teaching kindergarten, first grade and second grade. As well, previously for three years I served as an Elementary Instructional Coach in Maryland, supporting educators teaching pre-k to fifth grade. I believe in being a lifelong learner! I hold a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Stevenson University and a Masters in Leadership in Teaching: Administration and Supervision from Notre Dame of Maryland University. I am very excited for the next year and to continue to be part of the Lincoln Elementary Family! I believe in serving the community and providing a learning environment that supports all learners! 

Fun Facts:

Family: We are a blended family with four children- ranging in age from 23 to 11! Three boys and one girl! Our oldest is currently in the Air Force serving in Italy! 

Favorite Place: DISNEY! Epcot and Magic Kingdom are my favorite parks!

Hobbies: Collecting shells at the beach, family time, and watching my children play sports!

Adventures: My favorite adventure is any family road trip! But, my most unique adventure was swimming with sharks in the Bahamas!
