Hi Lincoln Family! 

My name is Mrs. Bethany Ables! I am very excited to begin my adventure at Lincoln Elementary School! My family has recently relocated to Brunswick County from Maryland. This will be my sixteenth year in education! I am thrilled to be teaching first grade this year! My experience includes teaching kindergarten, first grade and second grade. As well, over the past three years I have served as an Elementary Instructional Coach, supporting educators teaching pre-k to fifth grade. I believe in being a lifelong learner! I hold a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Stevenson University and a Masters in Leadership in Teaching: Administration and Supervision from Notre Dame of Maryland University. I am very excited for the next year and to be part of the Lincoln Elementary Family! I believe in serving the community and providing a learning environment that supports all learners! 

Fun Facts:

Family: We are a blended family with four children- ranging in age from 22 to 9! Three boys and one girl! Our oldest is currently in the Air Force serving in Italy! 

Favorite Place: DISNEY! Epcot and Magic Kingdom are my favorite parks!

Hobbies: Collecting shells at the beach, family time, and watching my children play sports!

Adventures: My favorite adventure is any family road trip! But, my most unique adventure was swimming with sharks in the Bahamas!
