Mr. Golen's Social Studies

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year.  I am very excited to begin another school year here at CGMS, and look forward to all that we will learn together.  I say this because learning in school is a two way street.  I will present you with information, which will require you to think, make choices, and respond.  Through your responses, we will carry on many discussions in class.  Through these discussions, we will all share new ideas, so both students and teacher will learn.

I would like to lay down one simple classroom rule to start us off, though we as a class will come up with more rules as well.  Be respectful and courteous to everyone.  This includes one another, any guests we may have, and me, the teacher.  When we all follow this, most everything else should fall into place.
