About Me

I could not be more thrilled to be your student’s 1st grade teacher for this School Year! This will be my 5th year teaching and I am ready to make it the best one yet! I am excited to learn and grow with my students. I know that with hard work and kindness, we can accomplish anything we set our minds to! Here's a little bit about me. I grew up in Aberdeen, NC and moved to Shallotte NC when I was in 8th grade! I have 3 siblings and 1 niece and 1 nephew! I enjoy traveling and all things Disney! I graduated from Campbell University. I taught 2 years in Harnett County and finally coming back home to the beach to teach!  I am loving being apart of the VWES Family and am excited to help your kids meet their goals for third grade!
