Soft skills are sometimes called people skills. Knowing how to maturely interact and collaborate with others in the workplace. Examples of soft skills include: communication, problem solving, teamwork, attitude, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.
Hard Skills
Hard skills are sometimes called technical skills. Hard skills are learned through education, special training, real life practice, and gained knowledge in a specific area. Examples of hard skills include: computer programming, coding, interpreting data, marketing, and many more.
Transferable Skills
Transferable skills are skills that you take from one job to another. Soft and hard skills are both transferable.
