Hello and thank you for visiting my google site.  I'm excited for my first year in Brunswick County Schools to be here at TCMS! Although this is my first year here, I have 11 years of experience teaching middle school Math and Science in Duplin County, NC. Prior to teaching, I was a restaurant manager at the Mad Boar in Wallace, NC.  Serving people through teaching has always been my passion.  Back in 2008, a door opened for me to attend college to become a teacher.  Starting with my Associate Degree at JSCC in Kenansville, I transferred and graduated with my Bachelor Degree in Middle School Math and Science from UNCW.

Outside of school, I spend my time crocheting, making wreaths, reading, volunteering and listening to podcasts.  With the blessing of living in Southport and Oak Island, I love taking pictures of sunrises, sunsets, and nature.  I have two children.  My oldest is a digital artist creating thumbnails for YouTube videos near Chicago, Illinois, and my son is in his 2nd year studying Graphic Design at Mount Olive College in Mount Olive.
