Class overview
The course, HU40 Health Science I is rigorous and relevant based on state and national content standards and engages technology to teach today’s generation of students. Business and industry representatives reviewed the standards and provided input on the content for this course as one that helps to prepare students for high skill, high wage, or in demand occupational opportunities.

Hi, I am Karen Wehlage I graduate from SBHS.
I have been teaching for 14 years; nine of those years in Indiana and one year at SBHS. I have taught biology, physical science, health, CTE health science (8 years at college and high school level), and career management. I also worked as a behavioral counselor for six years while in Indiana. I primarily worked with troubled youth.
