Hello, my name is Kelly Kotowski, and I’m thrilled to be teaching at JMME for the 2024-25 school year! With 22 years of experience in education, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. Currently, I serve as a reading interventionist, working with students from kindergarten through 5th grade to help them enhance their reading skills.

My passion for teaching stems from a deep commitment to helping students achieve their full potential, especially in the critical area of literacy. I believe that strong reading skills are the foundation for lifelong learning, and I’m dedicated to making a positive impact in each student’s educational journey.

Outside of the classroom, I live in OIB with my husband, and we have two wonderful daughters who reside in Charlotte. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting and bike riding—activities that help me relax and recharge.
