Hi, My name is Karla Stanley! 

I am one of 3 Assistant Principals here at West Brunswick High School. My office is room 152 in the 100 building right next to ISS. 2024-25 is my 22nd year in Education and my 19th year at West Brunswick High School. Previously, as a classroom teacher, I’ve taught all four levels of High School English and 6th & 7th grade Middle School Communication Skills. I am blessed to be an Educator at heart!  I believe every student has the right to learn; it is my honor to teach and give them the opportunity! 

Though I did not grow up in Brunswick County, my husband, Jaymus Stanley, is a 2000 West Brunswick High School graduate and a community leader. We have three children: Monty, Jaelah, and Jaymus Jr.  My oldest 2 are already graduates of WBHS. And my youngest will be in the class of 2029. 

Feel free to contact me about anything concerning WBHS. And I will try my best to help and find an answer. I am currently the administrator of the WBHS Transportation, AVID, Science, and  CTE departments.
