Welcome to 7th grade Social Studies! My name is Jakob Miller, and I look forward to working with students and their families this year. Prior to teaching at Shallotte Middle, I taught 7th grade ELA and Social Studies in Alamance County, NC. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a BA in Political Science and History in 2023. During college, I also served as a Press Intern in the North Carolina 12th Congressional district office.

Outside of school, I enjoy listening to music and playing guitar, reading, and working on/cleaning cars.
