Hello everyone!

My name is Heather Jones, and I’m thrilled to be your science teacher this year. Originally from Wilkes County, NC, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Appalachian State University. After moving to the coast in 2007, I spent 13 wonderful years at LMS before joining TCMS when it opened in 2020. Over the past 23 years, with 18 of those in Brunswick County Schools, I've had the pleasure of teaching middle school math and science across 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, along with a year of high school experience.

This year, I’m excited to explore the world of science with all of you and make learning both fun and engaging. Outside of school, I’m a passionate sports enthusiast—I’m a big Tarheel basketball fan and love watching my son play soccer.

I can’t wait to dive into this year’s adventures and look forward to a fantastic time learning together!
