Welcome to Team Florida! I am so excited to be your AIG ELA/Social Studies teacher this school year! This is my second year teaching at Leland Middle School, and my fifth year teaching at the middle school level. I am originally from Columbia, Maryland, and spent my first three years of teaching in Baltimore County, Maryland. I attended Millersville University in Pennsylvania and graduated with my Bachelors of Science Degree in Education in 2019. I am a certified teacher in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. 

In my free time, I enjoy; reading, shopping, spending time with my family, and going to the beach! I have three dogs (all labs) named Fenway, Harry, and Rosie. 

I am committed to delivering meaningful instruction to your child's education. I believe we all have the ability to learn from each other. I am looking forward to learning and growing with you this school year.
