Hello! My name is Chase Crafton, and I am thrilled to be returning to my coastal roots. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Middle Grades Math Education from Barton College in Wilson, NC. For the past six years, I have had the privilege of teaching 6th and 7th-grade math. I truly love the middle school years and am passionate about fostering student growth and achievement. Driven by a desire to make an even greater impact, I recently graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2026 with a Master's in School Administration. My long-term goal is to serve our school community as an Assistant Principal, and eventually a Principal, so I can advocate for our students, staff, and families at a higher level.

When I am not in the classroom, I love staying active by hiking, geocaching, and bowling. I am also a big fan of video and board games, anime, and TV shows (especially Big Brother—I will be on it one day!). On the weekends, you can usually find me hanging out with friends at local coffee shops or attending concerts and music festivals.

I am looking forward to an amazing school year!

With Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect,

Mr. Crafton
