Brunswick County Schools has an approved supplemental texts/major works list for each grade span. The list for middle school includes the texts (novels and chapter books) that have been approved for instructional use in ELA classes in grades 6 through 8. If there is a novel or chapter book you would like to use for instructional purposes in your ELA class, you may complete an Instructional Resource Nomination form and submit it to your media coordinator for your school's MAC approval process.
