Welcome to my class!  I am honored to be a part of Brunswick County Early College High School, where I have the privilege of teaching Honors English III and IV this semester. I graduated with a double major in English and Communication Studies from UNC Charlotte, and I have Master's Degree in Literacy and Culture from Longwood University.  I am National Board Certified in ELA- Early Adolescent and Young Adulthood. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I serve as the department chair, and advise the Media Club, where we partner with a community newspaper to help students explore their creative talents and develop their skills in journalism and digital storytelling. Furthermore, I collaborate with other teachers to coordinate international travel opportunities, providing students with experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. I look forward to another exciting year of learning and growth!
