I’ve resided in Brunswick County for the majority of my life. My B.A is in Elementary Education which I received at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This will be my first year teaching in Jessie Mae but I have worked in the education field as an early childcare teacher, a tutor for K-12 students, and as a trained reading interventionist for an after school program. I am excited to be apart of the community as an educator since it has always been my goal to be a teacher here! 

Fun Fact: 

I love collecting trinkets and always on the lookout to add more to my collection (my biggest weakness are cute keychains)! One of my favorite things to do is going to new places with my family and friends. 

On Being A Patriot: 

I went to JMM as a student so it is a full circle moment to be in my old elementary school as a teacher. Besides being excited to go into the teachers’ lounge, I am ecstatic to build relationships with the staff and students here!
