★GETTING STARTED★
Your student has a school-issued Google account; their email address and password are included in this packet
If your student is using a ChromeBook, they will use their Google account to log-in and the ChromeBook will remember their information and use it to log them into the programs we use, which are all Google compatible
If your child is not using a ChromeBook, the easiest way to utilize Google’s ability to have a single sign on that it stores for use in other applications it to download the GoogleChrome web browser and logging your student in to the browser. When the student is logged in to the GoogleChrome browser with their account, it will be applied to log them in to the programs we use, just as if they were on a ChromeBook
★USING CLEVER★
Clever is a ‘portal’ that has links to all of the applications we will use for online learning; when you access a program through Clever, it automatically signs you in! On ChromeBooks there is a link to open Clever next to the search bar, it is a purple square with the letter C inside. If you are using GoogleChrome, go to www.clever.com and in the upper right corner, select “Log In as Student” and enter the students email and password.
Clever has icons with links that, if you are signed into your Google account, will open without needing to input the username and password again
You can open your Gmail account through the Gmail Icon in Clever to join your daily video lesson!
When your teacher gives you an assignment to complete, they will tell you which App to use in Clever! It’s that easy!
