Hello, Starfish!

My name is Brooke Crampton, and I’m so excited to be part of the Supply family as the K–5 Reading Interventionist. Although this is my first year in BCS, it will be my 16th year in education. I’ve had the privilege of teaching Specials (1 year), 1st Grade (4 years), Kindergarten (7 years), and Intervention (starting my 4th year). I’m excited to bring my experience and love of learning to Supply Elementary.

I’m originally from Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!), but I’ve called North Carolina home for the past 15 years. I still visit Pittsburgh often since my parents live there, but I definitely don’t miss the cold and snow! I’m the oldest of three, with a younger brother and sister. I’m also an aunt to two amazing five-year-old identical twin girls who live all the way across the country in Washington. Thank goodness for technology!

At home, I have a spoiled mini Labradoodle named Saylor and a cat named Lennox. They love to cuddle, play, and keep me entertained!

When I’m not teaching, I love to read, cook, watch movies and shows, indulge in some self-care, swim, go to the beach, try new restaurants, travel, and most of all, spend time with my friends and family.

I’m looking forward to a successful, fun-filled year full of learning, growth, and making wonderful memories with my Starfish family! I can’t wait to get to know all of you and make this a fantastic year!
