Hi there! My name is Mrs. Cowart, and I’m so excited to be your kindergarten teacher this year! I’m a proud Brunswick County native — I grew up in Leland and now live in Bolivia with my wonderful husband and our two daughters.

My oldest, Aubree (8), is a 3rd grader here at TCES, and my youngest, Maizy (1 ½ ), keeps us all on our toes!

I am currently in graduate school at UNC-Pembroke, working toward my Master’s Degree in Teaching.

Being a TCES Gator is such a blessing, and I’m so honored to be your teacher this year. I can’t wait for all the fun, growth, and memories we’re going to share together!

• I played softball at UNC-Pembroke during Undergrad!

• My husband is a police officer - a Detective!

• This is my 3rd year at TCES! I previously taught Middle School Special Education!

• I coach softball for the local Softball League.
