I was born and raised in Upstate New York but moved to North Carolina to attend UNCW where I student taught at TCES. After graduating, I began my teaching career in Charleston, South Carolina where I taught 2nd grade for three years. I found myself back at Town Creek in 2021. 

This is my ninth year teaching and sixth year teaching 3rd grade alongside the marvelous Ms. Mauck. I teach reading and Ms. Mauck teaches math, science, and social studies. We pride ourselves on building relationships with our students, as well as their families.

In my free time I enjoy anything fitness and health related! I love weight lifting, running, walking my dog, and cooking up new recipes.
