Hello and welcome.  I am excited to be back at Shallotte Middle and look forward to the school year. This will be my 18th year teaching.  Prior to teaching, I worked in the “business/accounting world.”  I have 3 college degrees...A.A. in Accounting, A.A. in Business Administration, & B.S. in Elementary Education & History with certification in Middle Grades ELA, Social Studies, & Science.  I am a proud graduate (Summa Cum Laude) from Appalachian State and UNC-CH. "Go 'Neers".   

Prior to teaching in Brunswick County, I taught middle school in Wilkes County, NC.  My husband & I have been married for 31 years. We have two wonderful sons and a handsome grandson.  We moved to Brunswick County in December 2017 because of my husband’s job and the fact that we LOVE the beach!
