Essential Question: How do books change lives around the world? 

Students will look at texts that show and deepen their understanding of the importance of books and reading around the world. Students will also learn story elements along with enhancing their vocabulary. 

Essential Question: What can we discover about animals' unique features? 

Students will dive deeper into texts examining animal features. Students will begin to learn the importance of research while also investigating the lessons of fables, main idea and details, and making connections between texts.
