Hi there! This is my twelfth year teaching--my tenth at West. I graduated from West Brunswick in 2009, and then I attended Meredith College where I majored in English and obtained a secondary education licensure. I am the adviser for our news program, The West Wind, and serve as president of  the NCSMA Adviser Board,. I was honored as WBHS Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020, voted “Best of Brunswick” in the Beacon in 2020, and honored with Teacher of the Year from the Leland VFW in 2021. Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and two sons. I am an avid reader and try to read about 50 books a year. I can’t wait to learn more about you! This year, I am most looking forward to facilitating seminars and conferencing in writing workshops with all of you; I already love each of you, and I want you to find success in the English classroom.
