Hi, my name is Angela Hawley and I am the Instructional Interventionist. This is my fourth year at Virginia Williamson Elementary School. This will be my 25th year teaching in North Carolina. I spent most of my years teaching in Charlotte until moving to Brunswick County in July of 2021.
I attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary & Early Childhood Education. While teaching in CMS, I earned my National Board Certification.
I look forward to working with our Stingrays in order to help them be successful in all that they do! RAYS UP!

In my free time, I like to spend time with my fiancé John. Our favorite things to do together are go to the beach, go to the gym, and go out to dinner. We like to watch movies and watch football too. (Go Steelers!) I also enjoy spending time with my friends and visiting my family whenever I can make the trip to Erie, Pennsylvania.
I am currently on Class Dojo as our school communications liaison. You will see posts from me on Class Dojo under the VWES School Story. I am hoping to keep families better connected to all the events and happenings here at our school and within the community.
