Hello, Jessie Mae Monroe families! My name is Jeannine McCafferty and I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade for the 2024-2025 school year. I have 14 years of teaching experience, including kindergarten, 1st grade, 5th grade, and of course 3rd grade.

My favorite part about teaching is witnessing those "aha" moments when students grasp a concept for the first time, building meaningful connections with my students, and seeing them grow and develop over the year. 

I live in Ocean Isle Beach with my husband, my 9-year-old son, and our dog, Regina. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, playing games, walking, and relaxing on the beach or at the pool.
