A VSMS alumna and TC Roberson graduate (Class of 2004), I returned to teach at my alma mater in 2019 after a decade working in marketing and the non-profit sector. I hold dual B.A.s in English Literature and American History from UNC-Chapel Hill and completed my post-baccalaureate teaching licensure at UNC Asheville. I currently teach 8th Grade Social Studies while pursuing a Master's degree in Constitutional History through the University of San Diego in partnership with George Mason University. I am a current National Board candidate and a two-time North Carolina finalist for the James Madison Fellowship in Constitutional Studies.
