+ What do I use for a zscaler login or Microsoft login if I am having issues accessing a site?
The zscaler login is the student id@k12bcs.net (ex. 1234567@k12bcs.net) Student ID is the UID or lunch number.
It may also prompt you for a Microsoft login, which will be the same, student id@k12bcs.net
It doesn't normally require a password, but if it does, use your computer password.

+ How and when will students, families and staff know if a virtual day will take place?
Buncombe County Schools’ has an extensive communication protocol and will initiate all-calls, text messages and email notifications to all stakeholders. We will use the same notification process used for inclement weather days. STAY INFORMED: Do you know your BCS notification options?
+ How will students be informed about assignments during a virtual day?
During a virtual day, students will be provided learning opportunities, which may include digital and/or hands-on assignments. These assignments are designed to complement the current classroom curriculum and have been created by specific educators and curriculum teams. Detailed information, such as what students are expected to complete, how they will show that they have completed the work, and teacher contact information will be provided by the teacher via email or through the teacher’s learning management platform of choice.
BCS Student Gmail and Google Drive are accessed via my.NCEDCLOUD.org single sign-on portal (not via mail.google.com).
+ What learning management platforms are available to students and educators?
Buncombe County Schools provides access to Seesaw, Google Classroom, Canvas, and Microsoft Teams/O365. Google Classroom and Canvas are accessed via my.NCEDCLOUD.org. Microsoft Teams/O365 is true single sign on via BCS Windows machines.
