Vanessa Hensley

Hello, I am Vanessa Hensley! Welcome to my Google Site. 

I am a second grade teacher at Haw Creek Elementary. I did my student teaching  at Haw Creek in 2018 and have taught here since. I taught fourth grade for 3 years and have taught second grade for 3 years now.  I graduated from North Buncombe High School in 2015 and am so blessed to be teaching in Buncombe County today! 

I love getting to know my students each year and watching them learn and grow! I strive to make every child in my class feel loved, empowered and safe. I'm excited for another wonderful year!
