I am so excited to have your student in 3rd grade this year! Read on for a little about me.
I absolutely love being in the mountains! I am a Texas and Georgia girl and WNC is by far my favorite! I am a graduate of Buncombe County Schools and TC Roberson. GO RAMS! I have been working with Buncombe County since 2006 and I have been at Estes since 2014. I have a degree in Elementary Education and graduated from Western Governor's University. My passions are my family, animals, gardening, football and anything in nature.
Third grade is a big year! Students are expected to become responsible and independent of their own learning this year. Grades will be posted and collected through Powerschool. Parents will have access to Powerschool. I use google classroom as our learning platform and every student will receive a 1:1 device. I also use email and classdojo as a way to communicate with families. I strongly encourage you to sign up for classdojo!
