  • My name is Thomas Oliver and I am excited to be a part of the Weaverville Blackhawk community! I am originally from England and have lived in many places, including Canada. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University in 2001. I have over 20 years of experience in education and have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I have previously taught in South Carolina and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.

  • I have a true passion for creating lifelong learners. In our classroom, we will work together to build a community of learners who succeed in a positive environment.

  • My wife Sarah and I live in the Weaverville community. We have three fantastic children who are part of the Blackhawk community. In my free time I enjoy reading, working in the yard, playing board games, exercising, and spending time with my family.
