I have been blessed to work in Kindergarten at Barnardsville Elementary since 2015. I attended Buncombe County Schools kindergarten through High school. I graduated from North Buncombe High school and obtained my teaching degree for Mars Hill University. I teach because I have a passion for helping children see themselves as life-long learners and to help them develop a foundation in reading. I strive to create a classroom environment where all children know they are special. I believe children learn best when they know they are loved, feel safe, and they are confident in themselves as learners.
