Welcome to Third Grade! 

My goal this school year is to not only teach your child third grade curriculum, but to foster a love for learning in them! My hope is that the children in my classroom come to school each morning with a smile on their face and leave with an even bigger one because they felt loved, supported, and wanted. My classroom is a positive learning environment where we discover new concepts and ideas each day. In my classroom it's okay to make a mistake. We learn from those mistakes, and we try even harder the next time! I will work toward making this school year as engaging and FUN as I can while teaching the NC standards for third grade. We're going to have a wonderful year!

About Me

I was born and raised here in the Erwin community. I attended West Buncombe Elementary K-5th grade, Erwin Middle, and graduated from Erwin High in 2017. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Mars Hill University in 2021. I come from a family of educators, I guess you could say it's in my blood! I'm happily married to my husband, Jackson, my high school sweetheart. We welcomed a perfect baby boy named Baker Jack this past April 2025. We also have spunky golden retriever named Winnie!
