Mrs. Silvers' Kindergarten

My name is Taru (Tara, just with a u) and I am so excited to be a part of the teaching team here at Weaverville Primary. 

• • I spent the last 6 years teaching NC PreK before becoming a kindergarten teacher in 2024. 

  • I attended UNC Greensboro where I obtained my B-K licensure. 

  • I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl! I would sit my stuffed animals up in "class" and pretend they were my students. I find so much gratitude in being a child's first teacher! Having a teacher who values and respects the students in the beginning makes a huge difference on their outlook of school the rest of their life.
