Math Curriculum 

We follow the NC Standard Course of Study. 

We will cover the following topics in Math this year and students will take a math EOG in the spring. 

• Data and Graphing 

• Multiplication and Division

• Volume

• Place Value and Decimals

• Fractions using  operations ( +,-, x,/)

• Measurement and Geometry (Quadrilaterals)

The fifth grade curriculum encourages problem solving and the use of visual representations to show students thinking.
