Tammy Heath, First Grade

I am a veteran teacher with 30+ years of experience. I have been a teacher at Sand Hill Venable since 2002. I grew up in this area and went to public school in the Asheville City School system. I received my teaching degree from Mars Hill University.

I love to teach because I love children. Children are inquisitive, energetic, and fun-loving! They are eager to learn and ready to take on new challeges. It's exciting to see the light go on when a student learns a new skill.

We use Seesaw in our classroom. Seesaw allows students to write, draw or type an answer when completing an assignment.
