Stacia Jumper

Jump Into 3rd Grade With Mrs. Jumper And Her Frogs!

Welcome! I just wanted to give everyone a little background information about myself so that you can better understand the person teaching your precious child. I am from a very small town called Hayesville, North Carolina and I have always wanted to become a teacher. To fulfill this goal, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from UNCA and I received my K-6 licensure. In addition, I have my AIG endorsement.

After I graduated, I married my college sweetheart and we stayed in Asheville. This is the start of my 17th year of teaching in Buncombe County! I have taught first, third, and fourth grades. (Third grade is my favorite!) I am blessed to be teaching at Estes. It is such a wonderful and dedicated school!

In addition to my public school experience, I worked part time at Hayesville Child Development for seven years. This allowed me to gain a better understanding of children and gain valuable experience that enabled me to become a better teacher.

I want you to know that I am blessed to have the opportunity to teach your precious child. I do not consider this a job. Teaching is my calling and I love what I do! A theme in my classroom is to try, try, try your very best. If I expect that from my students, in return, they will see the same from their teacher! It is a passion of mine to see every child succeed to the best of his/her capability!

While I am not at school, I enjoy being outside, taking LOTS of photos, listening to music, playing volleyball, decorating, going out to eat, singing with my mom, and most importantly spending time with my family and friends.
