Welcome to Ms. Smriti Shrestha's  Class website

Hello, my name is Smriti Mathews. I am from Kathmandu, Nepal.  Since moving to the USA, I have lived in Georgia, Colorado  and now  in Ashville, NC. I live here with my husband Chris and son Bodhi. We love being outside !! Our favorite things to do are hiking, biking, camping and traveling. 

Children learn best when they are involved and excited about their learning. Creating those moments of true involvement builds great thinkers and fosters curiosity and joy, as well as lifelong learners.

 I have been an educator since 2012. I started as a Pre-K teacher and have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. 

I love teaching !!! I am excited to share my love for teaching and learning with your child.
