Shelley Jones

Hello! I am a proud graduate of Buncombe County Schools (A.C. Reynolds High School) and happy to be a part of the Owen community. 

I completed my education at Grand Canyon University in November of 2023 where my primary program included obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in English for Secondary Education. I was inspired to enter this profession, largely because I witnessed the impact of dedicated educators in my children's lives, and worked with amazing teachers and school communities. I became a teacher to help students realize their potential, and create an environment where every student feels valued and capable of success.
