My girl. NBHS Class of 2025!
Hey there- I’m from a small, coastal town near Myrtle Beach, SC. I moved to Asheville in 1998 and began my career as a School Counselor in 2001.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Francis Marion University and a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Webster University. I decided I wanted to work with children in a public school setting, so I went back to school at Western Carolina University to complete the School Counselor licensure requirements.
My goal is to help students identify and use their strengths to achieve personal and academic successes at school and home, with their friends, and in their community. This work happens in classroom lessons, small groups, and individual conversations.
I am honored to serve and support the students at Oakley Elementary.
