Mr. Miller came to NWR in 2016 from Eblen Intermediate. He is a North Buncombe resident, with a wife and 3 Blackhawk daughters. One daughter graduated from NBHS in 2016, another graduated from there in 2023 now attending App State, and his youngest is beginning her senior year at North Buncombe High! Mr. Miller's wife is a Speech Language Pathologist at NBES.
Mr. Miller grew up in northern Illinois, mostly near Chicago, graduating from Freeport Senior High School in Freeport IL as a "Freeport Pretzel" (not kidding - Google it). He attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota, Illinois State University, the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, and UNCA. He also has a background in theatre. Mr. Miller enjoys racquetball, pickleball, camping, hiking, backgammon, and mostly spending time with his family.
