Mr. Sexton

Hello!

My name is Mr. Sexton, and teaching ELA is actually one of my favorite thing to do!

I live here in Asheville with my wife and son, who attends TC Roberson.  We moved here from Concord (NC) where I taught Middle Grades ELA for several years.  We are so happy to be here in the mountains, because we love nature and trail running is my favorite activity.  I have two older daughters who go to Chapel Hill, so I am a big Tar Heels fan.  We also like to travel together, and last year we went to Peru!

I attended Tufts University in Boston for my undergraduate degree and Northwestern University in Chicago for my graduate degree.

My favorite books are historical novels and biographies of famous military leaders, with the occasional fanatasy novel thrown in.
