I graduated from Mars Hill College, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in middle school education with concentrations in both math and science.

I am married and have two children, both of whom graduated from North Buncombe High School. I love the North Buncombe Community and especially the children North Windy Ridge Intermediate School serves.
